1. Eligibility to Rent

a) The individual signing the rental agreement is fully responsible for the rented item(s).

2. Rental Period

a) The rental period begins on the agreed start date and time and ends on the agreed return date and time.

b) Late returns may result in additional charges unless prior arrangements are approved by LCOARental.

3. Payments & Fees

a) A deposit must be paid to secure and booked the items (s) required. Remaining payment must be made before the time of pickup/delivery.

b) Additional fees will apply for late returns, damages, or loss unless otherwise stated by LCOARental. 

c) If our delivery and retrieval personnel must wait due to delays during delivery or retrieval, additional waiting-time fees may apply and will be billed to the customer.

4. Security Deposits

a) A security deposit may be required for certain rentals.

b) Deposits will be refunded with 48 hours after the item (s) is returned in acceptable condition, minus any applicable charges.

5. Use of Rental Items

a) The Renter agrees not to modify or misuse use of the item.

b) The Renter is responsible for ensuring safe and proper use at all times.

6. Damage, Loss, or Theft

a) The Renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft during the rental period.

b) Repair or replacement costs will be charged if items are returned damaged or not returned at all.

7. Maintenance & Condition

a) All rental items are provided in clean, functional condition.
Normal wear and tear is acceptable; excessive wear is not.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

a) Cancellation policies may vary depending on the item rented.

b) Cancellation of any item within 48 hours of scheduled delivery or of picking up of the order will result in a 30% cancellation fee. 

c) Cancellation of entire order must be done within 2 weeks prior to event date or a cancellation fee of 60% of entire deposit will be forfeited.

d) No-shows may result in forfeiture of payment or deposit.

9. Liability

a) LCOARental is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from the use of rental items.

10. Termination of Rental

a) LCOARentals reserves the right to terminate a rental if terms are violated.

b) Refunds are not guaranteed to be issued for terminated rentals due to misuse or policy violations.
